With the mission of delivering exceptional health care of the highest standards to the people of Batlagundu and the surrounding of Kodaikanal areas, A State of the art cardiac catheterization laboratory was inaugurated on 28.08.2025..

The solemn occasion began with the blessing ceremony by his excellency Rev. Dr. Antony Pappusamy, D.D., S.T.D., Emeritus Archbishop of Madurai, followed by the official inauguration by Rev. Sr. Dr. Jacqueline Pragasam, Province Animator, Madurai.

The distinguished gathering included Rev. Sr. Fatima Kattar, Former Province Animator, Paravai, Rev. Fr. Jesudass Rajamanickam, Director, St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, Rev. Fr. Edward Francis, Parish Priest and Vicar Forane, Batlagundu, Mr. P. Chithambaram, President Batlagundu Town Panchayat, Sr. Amali, Our Administrator.

This Cath Lab has been inaugurated especially to serve the people of on Kodaikanal, Batlagundu and surrounding areas, ensuring that advanced cardiac care is accessible closer to home.

The momentous event was graced by the warm presence of Sisters, IMA Members, Doctors, Staffs and Students of Leonard Family making the inauguration a truly memorable milestone in our healthcare journey.
